Hazelbury Bryan Hedgehog Friendly Village
In October 2017, the 7 hamlets that make up the village of Hazelbury Bryan joined other Dorset villages and towns by becoming a ‘Hedgehog Friendly Village’.  Working in conjunction with the Dorset Mammal Group, the status of ‘Hedgehog Friendly Village’ denotes that a number of interested local residents (Hedgehog Champions) are actively involved in helping to reverse the dramatic decline of UK hedgehog numbers.

Would you like to be involved in Brownies?

We are now looking for two ladies to become a Brown Owl and a Tawny Owl.
This will be for the Hazelbury Bryan group.
There is training so even if you were not a brownie or guide yourself you would be very welcome to apply.

Please contact Lyn on 01258 881484 for more details.

Community First Responders

Every day Responders from across the South West attend emergencies within their local communities. Sometimes the difference is providing reassurance prior to the arrival of an ambulance; sometimes it is saving someone's life. The South Western Ambulance Service Trust covers one of the most rural areas of the UK and we are committed to providing the population of the South West with the highest standard of out-of-hospital care.
We are extremely grateful to many Responders who volunteer to help members of their local community in their time of need.
